About the firm

Founded to serve companies the right way

Over years of working with companies in Saudi Arabia, our team saw many of them run zakat, tax and their financial records under deadline pressure: returns prepared in a rush, positions no document supports, decisions made without a clear financial picture. That is why we founded Alwiaa Advisory — to serve these companies the right way.

We provide financial, tax and zakat services: we prepare and file returns, represent our clients before ZATCA, and build orderly records that give their decisions a sound base — hence our name: al‑wiaa is the base on which zakat and tax are assessed. Alongside them, we offer marketing services that support our clients’ growth.

  • Nine years in tax and zakat for companies in Saudi Arabia and Egypt, across contracting, real estate, healthcare, manufacturing, financial services, technology and government: preparing and reviewing zakat, income tax, VAT and withholding tax returns, transfer pricing, planning and documenting tax positions, representing clients before ZATCA in audits and enquiries, and designing and delivering training.
  • SOCPA-certified VAT Specialist, holding the SOCPA certificate in Anti-Money Laundering & Counter-Terrorist Financing.
  • Certified Chartered Accountant (Ministry of Finance, Egypt) and Certified Tax Expert Assistant (Egyptian Society for Taxation).
  • Contributes to setting SOCPA examination questions.
  • B.Com. in Accounting, Ain Shams University.

Mahmoud Magdy Khazbak

Head of Marketing · Digital Growth
  • He leads marketing at Alwiaa, with over five years in performance marketing across Egypt and the GCC. He runs paid acquisition on Meta, Google, TikTok and Snapchat, and ties measurement and analytics to budget decisions, creative testing and conversion-rate optimisation.
  • His work spans paid-media strategy and budget allocation for e-commerce businesses in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, and mentoring media-buying teams. He has also run online stores end to end — products, suppliers, orders, delivery and customer service.
  • Holds the Media Buyer Diploma and the Google & YouTube Ads course (Digital Hub Egypt), and Udacity’s Digital Marketing Professional programme.
